Commissioner Sukkur Division on the recommendation of Deputy Commissioner Ghotki imposed a ban on sugarcane cultivation around the national highway in Ghotki district, notification issued.
According to the details, on the recommendation of SSP Ghotki, Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali had issued a letter to Commissioner Sukkur and told that the police stationed in the said areas near National Highway and Motorway M5 in Ghotki district. In view of the security risks for the police personnel posted at the checkpoints, a ban on sugarcane cultivation should be imposed around the national highway. Section 144 has been imposed on the cultivation of sugarcane up to 1500 meters on both sides of the highway and the M5 motorway.
