Nasirabad, July 30 – A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Nasirabad Division, Muin-ur-Rehman Khan, to review the progress of various development projects in the region. The meeting was attended by officers from different departments, including Superintending Engineer Irrigation Abdul Hamid Mengal, Executive Engineer Muhammad Yar Magasi, and others.
During the meeting, officers from various departments, including Irrigation, Communications, Urban Planning, and Public Health, briefed on the ongoing development projects. Commissioner Muin-ur-Rehman Khan emphasized the need for quality and timely completion of projects, saying that sustainable development projects are in the best interest of the public. He directed the officers to ensure that any issues in the projects are resolved promptly and that engineers should supervise the projects closely. He also stressed that payments to contractors should only be made after ensuring the quality of work.
The Commissioner also directed the officers to focus on educational institutions and complete the construction work on a priority basis, as the Chief Minister of Balochistan is also taking steps to improve educational institutions. He also instructed the Irrigation Department to closely monitor the ongoing projects and complete them according to PC-1. Additionally, he directed the Public Health Engineering department to complete their schemes as soon as possible, which would help resolve water supply issues for the public.
