(Independent ndependent Report)
Loralai, July 30 – Commissioner Loralai Division, Saadat Hassan, visited the Teaching Hospital Loralai along with Deputy Commissioner Miran Khan Baloch. During the visit, the Commissioner inspected various wards, including the City Scan, OT-1, OT-2, Surgical Ward, and Emergency Department. He also met with the attendants of patients and inquired about the facilities available for treatment.

On the occasion, MS Dr. Sar Hussain Shah, Deputy MS Dr. Muhammad Fahim Atman Khel, and other doctors were also present. The Commissioner was informed that 25 new doctors and lady doctors had been appointed to the hospital recently, but only four had reported for duty so far. Despite the large number of patients, especially in the emergency ward, there is a shortage of surgeons and anesthetists.

Dr. Jafar Ghulzai, who is currently handling emergency surgeries alone, requested the Commissioner to appoint another doctor to assist him, as it is not possible for one person to handle all shifts. Commissioner Saadat Hassan emphasized the importance of the health sector and directed the MS to ensure the availability of surgeons and anesthetists in the emergency ward.
