Commissioner Kohat, Syed Motasim Billah Shah, has appealed to the public not to link polio vaccination with other demands like electricity, roads, and gas, emphasizing that it is a matter of children’s health and future.
Speaking at an awareness session in Lachi, Commissioner Shah stressed that every member of society should administer polio drops to protect their children from lifelong disability.
The session, held under the Chief Minister’s “Awami Agenda” program, was attended by MPA Daud Shah Afridi, Tehsil Chairman Ehsan Khan, EPI Coordinator Dr. Mohabbat Ali Bangash, and frontline workers.
The Commissioner’s appeal comes amid concerns over polio vaccination boycotts in some areas, highlighting the need for community support to eradicate the disease.
