Commander Pak Navy Central Punjab meets Abdul Wali Kakar:

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stated that the economic development and prosperity of Pakistan is linked with Balochistan.
He believed that the issues of unemployment and poverty can be resolved by establishing border markets and promoting border trade in the province.
The Governor was speaking to the Commander of Pak Navy, Central Punjab, Rear Admiral Azhar Mehmood (Sitara-e-Imtiaz Military), who called on him here on Thursday.
During the course of meeting, matters about development of coastal areas of the province as well as decorating children with ornament of education, strengthening border trade, law and order situation and prospects about sea trade were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor said that time has come to make bold decisions for economic development and political stability of country.
He mentioned that Balochistan is rich province with natural resources and minerals. He said that although it is the area wise largest province of the country but it’s population is scattered.
This is why it is a difficult task to provide all basic facilities to the people, adding he pointed out.
He said that the overall law and order situation in the province is quite better as compared to the past because of the sacrifices of security institutions.
He said that we are proud of our national institutions and this is matter of pride for us that officers from different countries come for training there.
In the end , the commemorative shields were exchanged between the Governor and honourable guest.
