CM takes notice of reports of
increase in prices of flour;
directs to bring stability

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has taken notice of the reports of increase in prices of flour in Quetta and different other parts of the province and directed the Food department and district administration to take steps to bring stability in the prices of flour in their respective areas.
According to an official hand out issued here on Wednesday night, the Chief Minister said that the provision of flour would be ensured to the general public at the prescribed rates in the province.
The Chief Minister particularly directed the Commissioner Naseerabad and Deputy Inspector General of Police to ensure implementation on the ban imposed on carrying / transportation of the wheat out of the division.
He also directed to submit a report about the steps taken in this regard.
Moreover, the Chief Minister described the achievement of target of purchase of wheat by the Food department for the current year. He said that the people would get relief with this success.
Mr. Bizenjo highly appreciated performance of Food Department saying that its performance remained excellent under leadership of Minister Food, Engineer Zamarak Khan Achakzai.
He said that the Provincial Minister Food and his team’s performance remained excellent when it comes to talk about purchase of wheat in transparent manner.
The Chief Minister expressed the hope that neither there would be any shortage of flour with availability of wheat this year nor profiteers would have the chance to fleece the people.
