CM takes notice of poliovirus case reported from Zhob; seeks inquiry report

QUETTA: ighly concerned about the rise in cases of poliovirus in Balochistan, the Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has taken notice of the new case of poliovirus reported from Zhob district of the province, and sought the inquiry report about it.
The Chief Minister stressed that we would have to eradicate poliovirus, which otherwise cripple the children, together.
He said that each and every case diagnosed with poliovirus happens to be painful and matter of concern.
The Chief Minister said that at the time when world is finding new avenues of development, we are not ridding of the poliovirus.
He urged the parents to get their children administered the anti-polio drops voluntarily. Moreover, he directed to the Health Department and Emergency Operation Center for Polio Eradication to launch special anti-polio campaign in the province. He also directed to make the immunization campaign most effective.
