QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has ordered to establish two modern state of the art Trauma Centers in northern and southern sides of Quetta city.
The Chief Minister issued the orders in a review meeting held regarding improvement in the emergent medical services in Health Department here on Saturday.
The Special Secretary Health and Secretary Health briefed the meeting about the overall functioning and situation of the services of the department.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister directed the Communications and Works and Health Departments to identify the suitable places for establishing the modern Trauma Centers in outskirts of Quetta.
He also directed to the concerned authorities to make the projects of new Trauma Centers viable at the earliest.
Similarly, he directed to submit report after reviewing the shifting of Trauma Center of Civil Sandeman Provincial Hospital at any other proper place.
Besides, the Chief Minister also directed to start provision of medical services after outsourcing the Trauma Centers in Khuzdar and Zhob.
He believed that precious human lives can be saved after improving the emergent medical services. He also directed to link the rescue Centers established at the highways with the Trauma Centers.
