CM MOHSIN NAQVI’S VISION FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE, DPS GUJRANWALA SET FOR TRANSFORMATIVE GROWTH

LAHORE,  : Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi conducted an extensive visit to the “Mini Aitchison” Divisional Public School in Gujranwala, meticulously examining the educational and sports facilities for both boys and girls. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, during his visit, announced the construction of 24 new classrooms at DPS. He directed the Commissioner of Gujranwala to organize an additional 50 modern computers for the computer lab. Inviting the boys and girls to visit Lahore, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi assured them a tour of the Chief Minister’s Office and the Governor’s House. He further instructed the school principal to plan a visit to Lahore for the boys and girls. During his tour, Mohsin Naqvi visited the Autism Center at DPS, expressing compassion for the children. He also inspected various classrooms, engaging with students to discuss educational activities and address any concerns. In response to the students’ requests, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed immediate action. He assured the commencement of computer, arts, and music classes, as well as the introduction of sports activities in the second shift. Renowned cricketer Wahab Riaz was announced to play cricket with the students, and measures were taken to provide items at the canteen at reasonable prices. Expressing gratitude, boys and girls thanked Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi for promptly addressing their concerns. The Chief Minister also inspected the Digital Language Lab, interacting with children receiving computer education. Additionally, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the swimming pool, multi-purpose indoor hall, and squash court, praising the Divisional Public School for providing quality education with reasonable fees. With more than 4500 children in the morning shift and 1500 in the evening shift, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that the construction of 24 new classrooms would accommodate an additional one thousand students. He commended the services of Commissioner Naveed Haider Shirazi and Principal Sajid Jamal for maintaining high educational standards at DPS Gujranwala. Commissioner Gujranwala and the Principal briefed Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi about the educational and extra-curricular activities of DPS Gujranwala during the visit.
