CM MOHSIN NAQVI PAYS HOMAGE TO FALLEN HERO, ATTENDS FUNERAL OF CONSTABLE GHULAM HUSSAIN IN RAHIM YAR KHAN

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi offered the funeral prayer of Constable Ghulam Hussain at Police Lines Rahim Yar Khan. Constable Ghulam Hussain had heroically laid down his life during a courageous encounter with dacoits in the Kacha area. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the grieving father of martyred Constable Ghulam Hussain during their meeting.
Expressing admiration for the father’s unwavering morale, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi consoled him and lauded the high spirit displayed by the family. Acknowledging the significant sacrifice, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the martyrdom of Constable Ghulam Hussain, stating that he has achieved a lofty status through his selfless act. The entire nation pays homage to the eternal sacrifice of Shaheed Constable Ghulam Hussain.
Assuring comprehensive care for the family of Shaheed Ghulam Hussain, the Punjab government, as pledged by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, will extend all possible support. Furthermore, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi prayed for the elevation of Constable Ghulam Hussain’s rank.
In a display of solidarity, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also met the families of Shaheed Constable Qasim and Shaheed Irshad at Police Lines. He paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the martyrs and assured their families of unwavering support. Proudly acknowledging the bravery of the Punjab Police, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the officers and jawans of the Punjab Police have scripted a history of peace with their precious blood.
The gallant constables Ghulam Hussain, Mohammad Qasim, and Mohammad Irshad courageously confronted the robbers. Present at the occasion were Provincial Ministers Amir Mir, Ibrahim Hasan Murad, Inspector General of Police, Additional Chief Secretary Interior, Additional IG South Punjab, Commissioner, and other officials.
