Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has issued directives for a comprehensive operation aimed at the complete eradication of dacoits in the Kacha area. A significant meeting convened today at Rahim Yar Khan Airport, chaired by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, critically assessed the ongoing operation against robbers in the Kacha region.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the need for unbiased action against the facilitators of robbers, underscoring the urgency to harvest crops promptly in uncultivated areas to deprive miscreants of hiding spots. During the briefing, it was revealed that three police constables were martyred in yesterday’s incident, while four robbers lost their lives in the ensuing police action.
RPO Bahawalpur provided a detailed account of the robbers’ attack and the subsequent police response. The tragic events of yesterday were recounted during the briefing. Provincial Ministers Amir Mir, Ibrahim Hasan Murad, Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar, Additional Chief Secretary Interior, DPO Rahim Yar Khan, and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.
