CM MOHSIN NAQVI ACTS SWIFTLY ON DELAYED FIR, SUSPENDS SHO AND WARNS DPO IN CHILD’S TRAFFIC ACCIDENT CASE
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has taken decisive action in response to the delayed registration of an FIR concerning the tragic demise of a child in a traffic accident at Manawala police station, Sheikhupura. Acting on the directives of Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Inspector General of Police has swiftly suspended the SHO of Manawala police station. Additionally, a stern warning has been issued to the District Police Officer (DPO) Sheikhupura.
As a disciplinary measure, the SHO of Manawala Police Station has been transferred to district Rajanpur in Dera Ghazi Khan region. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that any delay in registering an FIR is unacceptable under all circumstances. He personally reached out to the grieving parents of the departed child, extending his heartfelt sympathies and condolences on this tragic incident.
