QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has directed to the concerned authorities to formulate Balochistan Youth Policy 2024 in accordance with the needs of youth of the province.
He directed to the concerned quarters to present the draft of Youth Policy based on comprehensive recommendations within 10 days.
He said that the Balochistan Youth Policy would reflect the effective representative of youth of the province.
The Chief Minister was chairing a high level meeting on the Balochistan Youth Policy 2024 here on Thursday.
The Member National Assembly, Mir Jamal Khan Raisani, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Secretary Youth Affairs, Javaid Anwar Shahwani, Chairperson of Balochistan Commission on Status of Women, Ms. Fauzia Shaheen and other concerned were present.
The meeting was briefed about the Balochistan Youth Policy 2024 by the Youth Affairs Department.
The meeting decided to make Youth Facilitation Centers functional in the province.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that guidance of youth in right direction is very necessary.
He stressed the need to keep in mind the gender equality in the Youth Police of the province.
He also stressed that the provision of opportunities should be made part of Youth Policy for utilizing capabilities of the youngsters.
In this regard, consultation of all stakeholders should be ensured in the Youth Policy, adding the Chief Minister directed further.
