QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has directed the Chief Executive Officer of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) and General Manager of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) to resolve the issues of electricity load shedding and sui gas pressure in the province immediately.
He also directed them to avoid suspension of electricity and sui gas supply during the month of Ramadanul Mubark.
These directives were issued by the Chief Minister during meeting of the CEO QESCO and GM SSGC who called on him in his chamber located in Provincial Assembly on Saturday.
It may be mentioned here that the high ups of QESCO and SSGC were summoned by the Chief Minister on the complaints lodged by the members of assembly during its session on Friday last.
The members of assembly had voiced great concern about the issues of electricity and sui gas in the province.
The Chief Minister particularly directed to the high ups of QESCO and SSGC to ensure uninterrupted electricity and sui gas supply at the times of Sehr-o-Iftar during the holy month.
He also directed to find sustainable solution to the electricity issues being faced by the agricultural consumers.
Similarly, the issues of electricity should also be resolved sitting together with zamindars, the Chief Minister asked the QESCO chief.
He directed the QESCO chief to present comprehensive report about progress on the related issues in next session.
