Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Srfraz Bugti, chaired a high-level review meeting on the Quetta Development Package and civic amenities yesterday. The meeting aimed to ensure the prompt completion of all projects under the Quetta Development Package.
CM Bugti directed authorities to expedite completion of all projects, emphasizing the importance of timely delivery. He also instructed officials to:
Maintain clean, wide, and well-maintained airport roads and highways
Improve traffic management to alleviate congestion- Ensure timely release of funds and high work standards
Activate social welfare centers for drug addict rehabilitation- Encourage private institutions to support rehabilitation centers
The Chief Minister stressed that Quetta’s development is a top priority, and his government is committed to providing citizens with a better quality of life.
This is a new era for Quetta,” CM Bugti said. “We will work tirelessly to transform our city into a vibrant, thriving hub of activity.”
The meeting was attended by senior officials from various departments, including the Quetta Development Authority, Works Department, and Social Welfare Department.
With the Quetta Development Package, the provincial government aims to upgrade the city’s infrastructure, enhance civic amenities, and promote economic growth.
The people of Quetta welcome this initiative, hoping it will bring positive change to their lives.

The Quetta Development Package is expected to be completed within the next two years, with a total investment of Rs. 10 billion.
