QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has assured that he would not sit with ease till complete rehabilitation of the rain and flood affected people of Gwadar.
The Chief Minister was speaking on occasion of the distribution of relief cheques among the affectees in Gwadar on Thursday.
He said that all available resources are being mobilized for rehabilitation of the affected people in Gwadar.
He said that he paid first visit of Gwadar after taking oath of the office of Chief Minister.
He said that rescue activities were started on emergent basis after the rains.
Moreover, prompt steps were taken for rehabilitation of the routine life and draining out the water from urban areas of the port city.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that the Chief Secretary and Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority were personally present to supervise the rescue activities in Gwadar.
Later, he distributed the relief cheques among the rain and flood affected people of Gwadar.
