CM ASSIGNS A TASK TO THE PROVINCIAL MINISTER FOR HOUSING AZFAR ALI NASIR TO UNDERTAKE 24 HOURS

The mission to accomplish public welfare projects before the stipulated deadline in Punjab is ongoing. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, a Provincial Minister has shifted to a container. On the special direction of Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, Provincial Minister for Housing Azfar Ali Nasir got his bed placed in a container on the site of Bund Road Controlled Access Corridor project and adopted a temporary residence. Provincial Minister Azfar Ali Nasir has been assigned the task to undertake 24 hours monitoring for the completion of Bund Road Controlled Access Corridor project. Provincial Minister Azfar Ali Nasir is busy in overseeing the project from morning till night. Azfar Ali Nasir will continue his residence in the container till the completion of the project. Provincial Minister Azfar Ali Nasir visited the project late at night and inspected the ongoing construction activities. Azfar Ali Nasir reviewed the progress being made on the project. Commissioner Lahore, Chief Engineer LDA, contractor and concerned officials were also present on the occasion. Provincial Minister Azfar Ali Nasir issued necessary directions to the contractor for timely completion of the project. Azfar Ali Nasir chaired a meeting in the container. Azfar Ali Nasir directed to utilise all necessary resources so as to expedite pace of work on the project. He stated that on the direction of CM, he would remain in the container till the completion of the project. CM Mohsin Naqvi is working day and night to provide maximum relief to the people. Azfar Ali Nasir highlighted that he is a volunteer of CM and would tread on his footsteps. All the directions given to him by the CM are rock solid. Azfar Ali Nasir underscored that we would fulfil the assigned target under any circumstance by the grace of Allah Almighty, come what may.
