CHILDREN’S LIBRARY COMPLEX SET TO TRANSFORM INTO STATE-OF-THE-ART MODEL, ANNOUNCES EDUCATION MINISTER RANA SIKANDAR HAYAT”

Lahore,  : On the direction of Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, the Education Department has decided to make the Children’s Library Complex a state-of-the-art model. The Education Minister has directed the Children’s Library management to adapt the complex to the interest of children as well as the general public. In this regard, he also asked for a plan in a week to prepare the action plan and make the Children’s Library a sustainable model. While presiding over a meeting held at the Children’s Library Complex, Rana Sikandar Hayat has instructed to launch IT programs in the complex equipped with modern technology and align the activities with the interest of both children and adults. He also advised that the Children’s Library Activities should be made attractive for all educational institutions including Madrasah’s. Education Minister also directed the meeting to prepare an annual calendar for activities for the children on a daily basis and further said to work for making the complex as a business model and outreach membership campaign should be conducted under public private partnership so that More and more children can benefit from the Children’s Library Complex. The Minister of Education were also briefed regarding the space tunnel in the Children’s Library and expressed his determination to make the Children’s Library the top performing library of Pakistan. He also directed the effective use of mass media platforms for the awareness of activities of the Complex to the children and the general public.
