QUETTA: The Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan visited Mir Naseer Khan Noori Cultural Complex here on Wednesday.
The Secretary Culture, Noor Muhammad welcomed the Chief Secretary.
During the visit, Chief Secretary inspected different sections of the Complex, which included digitalization of historic record, library, auditorium and conference hall.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary said that historic documents are precious assets of the nation. We need to keep the historic documents safe and digital for future generations, he added.
He on the occasion directed to expedite the process of digitalization and preservation of the national archives.
He stressed that the record of national and historic importance must be preserved and complete the process of digitalization of historic record.
He also directed to shift record lying in Sibi to Quetta.
