Chief Secretary urges private sector to play role for improving healthcare facilities along with government

QUETTA: The Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan has stressed that responsibility of improving healthcare facilities also rests with the private sector along with the government.
The Chief Secretary also stressed on paying attention on establishing nursing colleges instead of the medical colleges besides improving it further.
He was speaking on occasion of the ceremony arranged at the Aarya Institute of Medical Sciences here on Wednesday.
Also present on the occasion was Chief Executive Officer of Aarya Institute besides other concerned.
The Chief Secretary visited different sections of the Institute and reviewed the facilities being extended to the patients there.
He said that medical profession is a sacred profession and important source to serve the ailing humanity.
He urged those associated with the medical profession to serve the people considering it as a mission.
Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary appreciated CEO of the Medical Institute for improving healthcare facilities there.
He also inaugurated the eye department in the Aarya Medical Institute.
