CHIEF SECRETARY BALOCHISTAN CHAIRS CONFERENCE ON SOLARIZATION OF TUBE WELLS, HEALTH AND EDUCATION

Quetta, August 8: A conference of Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan, to discuss the solarization of agricultural tube wells, overloading of IPMS cases, smuggling, quality education, and provision of better health facilities.

The meeting reviewed various related matters and discussed the transfer of electricity-operated tube wells to solar systems, discontinuation of illegal agricultural tube wells, and transfer of legal connections to solar energy.

Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan addressed the conference, directing all officers to take measures to improve service delivery in their respective departments, ensuring that citizens receive all basic facilities at their doorstep.

He emphasized that providing better health facilities is the government’s responsibility and the basic right of citizens. The conference was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Interior Zahid Saleem, Secretary Schools Saleh Muhammad Nasser, Chief Executive QESCO Shafqat, and Special Secretary Industries Hafizullah Youghor, while Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners participated via video link.
