Chief Minister emphasizes youngsters can be kept away from anti-state activities by introducing health activities

QUETTA: The Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has stated that the Balochistan Youth Policy 2024 would be compatible with the needs of youth of province.
He said that it is very necessary to provide opportunities of education, livelihood and development to the youth.
He said that it is a matter of great concern that distances were created between the youth and State through negative propaganda. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the youngsters away from anti-state activities by introducing healthy activities.
These and similar other views were expressed by the Chief Minister while chairing a review meeting on formulation of Balochistan Youth Policy 2024 here on Thursday.
The Member National Assembly, Nawabzada Jamal Raisani, concerned high ups, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Imran Zarkoon and spokesman of provincial government, Shahid Rind were in attendance at the meeting. The meeting reviewed the salient features of the Balochistan Youth Policy with the aim to formulate it according to the needs of youth.
The Secretary Youth Affairs, Tariq Qamar Baloch briefed the meeting about the salient features of Youth Policy.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister stressed the need to make the Youth Policy compatible with requirements of the modern day as well as needs of the youth, transgenders and jawans of all oppressed segments of the society.
He directed to prepare calendar of events for engaging youth in healthy activities.
He also announced to hold Shaheed Siraj Raisani Football Tournament and Shaheed Professor Fazal Bari Cricket Tournament in the province.
He said that we have not forgotten our martyrs and they would be remembered forever.
