Chief Minister directs to digitalize land record of Quetta city completely in beginning of September

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has directed to the Senior Member Board of Revenue (MBR) to completely digitalize the land record of Quetta city in the beginning of September this year.
The Chief Minister said that settlement is necessary for the better land record as such, adding he directed to complete the settlement of Quetta city within two months.
The Chief Minister was presiding over the land record digitalization here on Monday.
The meeting was briefed about the matters about land record and it’s digitalization besides other related issues.
During the briefing, it was informed that fards (documents of ownership of land) and transfers of the land have been digitalized through land record information management system.
The system included E-stamping, GIS system and revenue record.
Preliminarily, the revenue record has been digitalized in Quetta, Jaffarabad, Pishin and Gwadar through the land record information management system.
Similarly, it was also informed that the facilitation system has also been established through LRIMS.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stressed that cooperation of land settlement office is unavoidable.
He also directed to ensure merit and transparency in the process of recruitment of patwaris.
