CHIEF JUSTICE OF BALOCHISTAN HIGH COURT ORDERS IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID TO CHAMAN AMID DIARRHEA EPIDEMIC

Chaman, August 18: Following the outbreak of a diarrhea epidemic in Chaman, Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court, Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar, has directed the Director-General of Health Balochistan to immediately dispatch a team of doctors and medical supplies to the area.
The directive comes after Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Captain (Retd) Raja Athar Abbas, Health Department Chaman, and former Provincial Minister Haji Nasir Ahmed Bacha Khan Achakzai requested assistance to combat the epidemic. Over 600 patients have been admitted to the DHQ hospital in Chaman, with both old and new hospitals facing a shortage of beds, medicines, and essential supplies. Relatives of patients are forced to purchase medicines from the market due to the shortage.
DC Chaman, ADC, and DHO Chaman are personally monitoring the situation and have declared an emergency at the hospital, ensuring all possible assistance and cooperation to those affected.
