Gilgit: On the occasion of the 74th Independence Day of Pakistan, various events were organized by institutions and colleges under the Department of Higher, Technical, and Special Education, Gilgit-Baltistan, in line with the special instructions of Secretary Farid Ahmed.
These events were attended by high-ranking government officials, principals, and a large number of students. The events included prayer ceremonies, flag hoisting, national songs, speech competitions, quizzes, and tableaux.
Speakers and participants expressed their views on the Pakistan Movement, the sayings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the thoughts and poetry of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the sacrifices of the leaders of the Pakistan Movement, the value and price of independence, patriotism, and the key role of students and youth in national development and progress. They reaffirmed their commitment to defend and develop the country’s ideological and geographical foundation, without compromising on any aspect.
