Islamabad, July 14, 2024: Following the directions of Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has established a Climate Change Fund, a first in Islamabad’s history, to mitigate the effects of climate change. The fund will support initiatives to combat environmental degradation, including a “Carbon Credit Program” aiming to plant 4-5 million trees in designated areas.
