CCPO BILAL SIDDIQUE KAMYANA COMMENDS LAHORE POLICE FOR SIGNIFICANT DROP IN PROPERTY CRIMES OVER LAST SIX MONTHS
The Lahore Police, in its latest performance report on crime calls received on the emergency helpline number 15, highlights a substantial decrease in property crimes over the past six months. CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, in a statement today, credited this positive trend to the effective measures implemented by the Lahore Police.
CCPO Kamyana noted a marked reduction in incidents of robbery, theft, extortion, and vehicle/motorcycle theft in Lahore during the last half-year. He emphasized that Lahore Police’s proactive actions are specifically targeting habitual and professional criminals engaged in various crimes, such as robbery and theft. Kamyana highlighted successful operations against dangerous groups involved in organized criminal activities, emphasizing their arrests and subsequent punishments.
Speaking on the matter, CCPO Lahore stressed the implementation of a zero-tolerance policy against individuals involved in drug-related offenses, illegal weapons possession, street crime, and other serious crimes. He commended the noteworthy decrease in crime within the provincial capital, underscoring ongoing and effective measures aimed at maintaining control.
