Caretaker PM emphasizes upon enforcing effective strategy to increase means of income & employment in Balochistan

QUETTA: The caretaker Prime Minister, Anwaarul Haq Kakar has emphasized upon enforcing effective strategy to increase the means of income and employments in Balochistan province.

He stressed the need to create a well balance in the budget and expenditures for better planning in future.

The interim Prime Minister was chairing a high level meeting on the development projects in Quetta on Saturday.

The meeting was also attended by caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki, Federal Minister Interior, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Federal Minister Communications, Ashraf Tarar and Federal Minister Planning and Development, Sami Saeed, besides other concerned federal and provincial high ups.

The Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan briefed the caretaker Prime Minister about the proposed and ongoing development projects in the province.

The caretaker Prime Minister emphasized on the most effective utilization of the resources and their least wastage.

He was of the strong view that there is a vast potential of mining of different minerals in Pakistan especially in Balochistan, which can be utilized for overall development of the country.

However, we can take benefit of the minerals of Balochistan only when there present proper communication infrastructure in the mineral rich areas.

Earlier, the caretaker Prime Minister chaired high level meeting on the security situation in Balochistan the same afternoon.

Speaking on the occasion, Anwaarul Haq Kakar said that it is our top priority to protect the country and nation besides maintaining safe environment for masses.

In this regard, the Prime Minister applauded the role of provincial government and law enforcement agencies.

He, however, stressed the need to improve further the legal structure for strengthening the state response in protective matters.

He said that the people would be provided more opportunities of economic development at the federal and provincial level.

He said that it is unavoidable to form modern and ingenious strategy for mobilizing resources of the country effectively.
