Caretaker Minister LG calls for ensuring provision of health facilities to masses

QUETTA: The caretaker Provincial Minister for Local Government, Sheikh Mehmoodul Hasan Mandokhail has stated that medical is a sacred profession and as such it should be ensured to provide necessary facilities to the masses.
He said that he would be approaching the concerned authorities on the issue of lack of medicines in the hospitals.
The caretaker Minister was speaking on occasion of his visit to the District Headquarter Hospital Zhob on Monday.
The Minister visited different sections of the hospital and inspected the services being provided to the patients.
Also present on the occasion were the former Senator, Sheikh Saeedul Hasan Mandokhail, District Health Officer, Dr. Muzaffar Shah, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Noorul Haq and other concerned.
Several patients on the occasion complained about the lack of medicines in the hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, caretaker Minister said that it is included in government’s priorities to provide healthcare facilities to the masses.
For the purpose, huge funds are being spent to bring improvement in the healthcare facilities in the public sector hospitals, he added.
