Caretaker Minister Home calls for especially focusing on security on 12th Rabiul Awwal

QUETTA: The caretaker Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Zubair Jamali has underlined the need to especially focus on the security of 12th Rabiul Awwarl particularly in the sensitive areas and districts of the province.
He said that it is our collective responsibility of all to ensure foolproof security on 12th Rabiul Awwal all over the province.
The Minister Home was addressing the meeting held to review the security arrangements on eve of 12th Rabiul Awwal, anti-polio campaign besides overall law and order, here on Wednesday.
The Additional Inspector General of Police, Jawad Ahmed Dogar, Commissioner Quetta, Hamza Shafqaat, Additional Secretary Home, Abdul Salam Jogezai, DIG Police, SSP Special Branch, Deputy Commissioner Quetta and Director General Levies force, Naseebullah.
The Commissioner Makran, Commissioner Sibi, Commissioner Loralai, Commissioner Rakhshan, representatives of the Corps Headquarter, Frontier Corps South, and other concerned high ups participated through video link.
In addition to them, the Additional Chief Secretary Home, Saleh Muhammad Nasar participated through video link.
During briefing, it was informed to the meeting that some 1400 personnel would perform security duties during 12th Rabiul Awwal.
The Commissioner Quetta briefed about the measures taken for maintaining law and order and security on the day.
He said that the apprehensions of religious leaders have been removed after meeting with them.
The Commissioner Naseerabad briefed about the tribal dispute occurred in Kachhi and told that efforts are being made to defuse the tension and resolve the dispute in the area.
