QUETTA: The caretaker Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Zubair Jamali has stated that the issues being faced by the sugar dealers association would be resolved.
He said that the interim government is determined to promote commerce and trade activities and provide necessary facilities to them.
The caretaker Provincial Minister was speaking to the delegation of Balochistan Sugar Association who called on him here on Thursday.
The Minister assured that all the issues facing the sugar dealers would be resolved accordingly.
He said that the objective of government is to provide facilities to the traders community.
The members of delegation of Suar Association on the occasion apprised the Minister Home about the issues of sugar dealers.
They pointed out that the sugar permits are being given to irrelevant persons in the province.
The basic reason behind increase in rate of sugar is giving permits to the irrelevant persons, the members of delegation noted.
They demanded of the interim government to withdraw sugar permits on pattern of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw.
They said that if government cooperates with us, then we would sell sugar at the lowest rates in the country.
The per kilogram rate of sugar would decrease to Rs. 130 from existing Rs. 190 in the province, they claimed.
