Caretaker CM invites “angry” Balochs to join national mainstream; ready to prepare effective policy for them

QUETTA: The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has once against invited the “angry” Balochs to come and join national mainstream. He said that he once again invites “angry” Baloch to come and join national mainstream and we are ready to prepare an effective for them (angry Balochs).”
The caretaker Chief Minister said that all security agencies are working with determination to fully restore peace and maintain government’s writ in the province.
He said that it is our utmost endeavour to establish conducive environment for the general elections as it is the mandate of interim government to conduct free and fair elections in peaceful environment.
He said that the meeting of all political parties would be called for consultation once the Election Commission of Pakistan announced the date of general elections.
He asserted that the provincial government would extend wholehearted assistance to the ECP for conducting free and fair elections.
The caretaker Chief Minister was speaking in a programme of state-run TV (PTV) Quetta on Sunday.
Mir Ali Mardan Domki spoke at length about the priorities of the provincial government, problems being faced, government steps being taken to address them, talks with the “angry” Balochs and other issues.
The caretaker Chief Minister maintained that around 75 percent portion of the province’s budget is spent on the non-development expenditures, salaries and pensions while only 25 percent budget is allocated for the development purposes. Even this 25 percent budget is also not utilized accurately, adding he regretfully pointed out.
As a result the general public is still deprived of the basic amenities like education, health and clean drinking water in the province, he added.
Referring the anti-smuggling initiatives, the caretaker Chief Minister said that wholehearted action is continued against the smuggling in collaboration with the federal government departments.
He said that a very fewer people are associated with the smuggling, while big groups have become billionaire through smuggling.
However, prevention of smuggling is very important, the caretaker Chief Minister asserted.
He said that we have issued directives to the administrative secretaries to ensure transparency in recruitment process. He said that it is our utmost endeavour not to deprive anyone of one’s due right and every deserving person gets one’s right.
Mr. Domki said that we would do our best to bring positive reforms in the public service delivery institutions in the time we have. It would be better if the coming government may continue the process of reforms, otherwise, it would be answerable to the people.
