QUETTA: The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has directed the concerned quarters to expedite the pace of work on the ongoing development projects under Quetta Development Package.
He asserted that no carelessness and leniency would be tolerated in the early completion of the development projects included different roads under the Quetta Package.
The Chief Minister was on visit to the development projects being executed under Quetta Development Package in the metropolis on Wednesday morning.
The Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development, Secretary Communications, Commissioner Quetta Division and other concerned high ups were also accompanied with the Chief Minister.
He was briefed about the development projects under the Quetta Development Package.
During briefing, the Chief Minister was informed that the Sabzal road extension project would be completed by December 30, 2023.
Similarly, the work on Link Badini has almost been completed while 90 percent work on Sariab road project has been completed.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister directed to ensure early completion of the roads and other projects under the Quetta Development Package.
He announced to visit and inspect the development projects after one week.
He strictly directed to the concerned authorities to make the construction companies bound to complete the work on projects as per their work plan and that within stipulated time.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister visited the Anscomb road development project. During briefing, he was informed that the project would be completed by November 30, 2023.
Mr. Domki on the occasion said that there’s no issue of provision of funds, we have to provide necessary facilities to the masses.
He said that the flow of traffic would reduce with completion of development projects in the Quetta city.
