Budget prepared in view of improvement of various sectors:

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Finance, Mir Shoaib Nausherwani has stated that the total provincial receipts have been estimated as Rs. 124.4 billion in the next financial year’s budget of the province and it is our utmost effort to increase the provincial receipts in the budget.
The Minister Finance said that we are trying to provide maximum relief to the people in the province.
He said that total volume of the provincial budget for next financial year is estimated at Rs. 955.6 billion, in which the share of federal receipts are over Rs. 726.6 billion.
He said that total expenditures in the next financial year’s budget are proposed as Rs. 930 billion.
He informed that the total volume of the ongoing expenditures are estimated at Rs. 564.8 billion in the next budget.
These details were shared by the Provincial Minister for Finance, Mir Shoaib Nausherwani while addressing post budget conference here at the Sikandar Jamali Auditorium on Saturday.
The Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, spokesman of provincial government, Shahid Rind and other senior high ups of Finance and P&D departments were also present on the occasion.
The Minister Finance said that the total volume of the development budget is estimated as Rs. 321 billion.
He said that the provincial government has been facing certain challenges in different sectors since its formation.
He said that the provincial budget was prepared keeping in view improvement of different sectors.
The Finance Minister said that the schemes, which are in the interest of people were given preference in the budget.
Speaking on the occasion, the spokesman of provincial government said that 1500 public development schemes have been continued in the next financial year’s budget.
He said that priority has been given to education and health sectors in the budget while the focus is also on the climate change.
The spokesman said that it is the endeavour of government to start tendering process from July.
The Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Mir Zahoor Buledi said that the public friendly budget was presented under leadership of the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti.
The Minister P&D said that all sectors have been covered in the provincial budget.
He said that we have given the suplus budge of Rs. 25 billion while the total volume is Rs. 955 billion.
He mentioned that Rs. 125 billion have been allocated for the ongoing development schemes in next year’s budget so as to execute the good ones.
He also said that around 64 percent of the development programme has been allocated for the ongoing development projects.
