BREACH IN OCH CANAL REPAIRED, FLOOD THREAT AVERTED

Sohbat Pur. , August 19: Executive Engineer Irrigation Drainage Madasser Zafar Khosa Oversees Repair Work_A breach in the Och Canal at RD 67+500 near Goth Data Khan Kandrani has been successfully repaired under the supervision of Executive Engineer Irrigation Drainage Madasser Zafar Khosa. The repair work was completed using heavy machinery and laborers who worked tirelessly to prevent flooding in the area. Additionally, a shagaf (breach) at the Jhat Pat Temple Drain near Bahadur Shah has also been filled, and work is underway to strengthen it further. Executive Engineer Madasser Zafar Khosa stated that the recent heavy rainfall has caused difficulties for both the irrigation department and the public, but despite the challenges, all available resources are being utilized to mitigate the effects of the floods.
