Bolan Medical Complex Hospital: 20 doctors, even number of paramedics suspended on absence from duties

QUETTA: As many as 40 doctors and other medical staff who were found absent from their duties in the Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) Hospital were suspended on Wednesday.
The suspension of absentee doctors and medical staff has been made by the Medical Superintendent of BMC Hospital in line with the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
According to the official sources, 20 doctors and even number of paramedics were suspended by the Medical Superintendent of BMC Hospital.
The departmental action has also been initiated against the absentee doctors and medical staff of the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Medical Superintendent of BMC Hospital has sent a summary regarding departmental action and suspension of the absentee medical officers and staff to the Secretary Health.
It may be mentioned here that the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti had paid surprise visit to the BMC on late Tuesday night and expressed his displeasure over absence of doctors from their duties.
He had ordered to initiate strict action against the absentee doctors of the hospital.
