Quetta, September 13,

The Balochistan National Party (BNP) has directed its two senators to oppose the government’s judicial package bill, according to a press conference held by the party’s central interim president, Sajid Tareen Advocate, and others.

The party has made it clear that it will not support any bill related to the judiciary or otherwise, and has instructed its senators to refrain from voting in favor of the bill. Similarly, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) has also strictly directed its senators not to vote for any bill.

This move by the BNP and JUI indicates a strong opposition to the government’s judicial package bill, and is likely to have significant implications the political landscape of the country.
