LARKANA : A research seminar on the attack and biological prevention of “mealbug” on olive crop was organized by the project in collaboration with Agricultural University of Faisalabad in the Faculty of Agriculture of Larkana University. And students and common people also participated, addressing the seminar on this occasion Dean of Faculty Sultan Ahmed Metlo, Project Invesigatertor Shah Jahan Rajput, Dr. Shahnawaz Khuhro, Dr. Abdul Hameed Memon, Madam Shabana Mazari and others said that the use of chemicals on crops and plants, the he use has caused a lot of damage as Pakistan is known as an agricultural country but in the world Pakistani rice, wheat and fruits are of no value because they are full of chemicals. He said that with biological control, we can get rid of the infectious disease spreading in mankind, while the use of chemicals is destroying environment-friendly clothes, which is harmful to mankind. The project to prevent mealybugs on olives has been made successful with the efforts of agricultural experts, due to which olive growers have benefited 20% more this year and we will be able to achieve 100% benefit in a few years.
