Balochistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Hosts Key Advisory Council Meeting

Quetta, November 14, The Balochistan Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (BPPRA) hosted a crucial advisory council meeting, chaired by Managing Director Afzal Khusty. Representatives from the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Federal PPRA, Punjab PPRA, Sindh PPRA, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir PPRA attended in person, while KPK PPRA and Gilgit-Baltistan BPRA joined via video link.

The meeting aimed to effectively implement e-procurement at federal and provincial levels and improve rules.¹ Key discussion topics included:

– *Institutional Organization and Resource Development*: Strategies to enhance institutional organization and resource availability within PPRA.
– *Professional Training Programs*: Establishing training programs to boost capacity.
– *Sustainable Procurement Policies*: Developing policies for sustainable procurement.
