Balochistan polio free for last two years

QUETTA: The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has reiterated the government’s resolve to fully eradicate polio virus from the province.
In a special message on occasion of the World Polio Day observed on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that the provincial government is mobilizing all available resources for ensuring complete eradication of polio from the province.
Mr. Domki said that the government is fully determined to polio eradication.
He paid rich tributes to the services of all polio workers on occasion of the World Polio Day.
The Chief Minister also said that we pay homage to the polio workers and security jawans who embraced martyrdom while performing their national obligation.
He said that Balochistan is polio free province for last two years because of the sincere efforts made by the polio workers.
He said that the polio workers are real heroes of the nation who remain busy in performing the national obligation even despite of the tough weather conditions.
Mir Ali Mardan Domki said that public health is included in the priorities of the provincial government.
He said that routine immunization system is also being put on the modern lines to ensure complete immunization of the children.
