Balochistan Food Authority Holds Training Workshop on Food Fortification

Quetta, November 21, 2024: The Balochistan Food Authority, in collaboration with the Benazir Income Support Program and GIZ Nutrition International, organized a one-day training workshop under the SOPRAN project. The workshop aimed to educate officials from the authority and food department on the importance of food fortification and quality control systems.¹

Food Fortification Importance_: Educate officials on the significance of food fortification.
– _Quality Control Systems_: Enhance preparedness for quality assurance and control.
– _Nutrient Testing_: Train officials to test food items, including flour, for nutritional content.
