Balochistan CM Vows to Bring Province at Par with Others

Independent Report.

Quetta/Tounsa, Nov 22, : Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Safraz Bugti has stated that attempts are being made to weaken the country on linguistic grounds. He emphasized that terrorists have no nationality or tribe.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the Kachhi Canal project, Bugti said that the country is being targeted on linguistic grounds, and efforts are being made to weaken it. “Punjab is the land that has kept its doors open for people from all over Pakistan, including Balochs,” he said. “People from all over the country come to Punjab for business, agriculture, and education. I am grateful to the people and government of Punjab.”

Bugti likened Pakistan to a bouquet of flowers, warning against conspiracies aimed at weakening the country. “Those who are conspiring against Pakistan are killing innocent Punjabi brothers,” he said. “This is not a conspiracy against Punjab or any other province, but against Pakistan as a whole.”

The Chief Minister emphasized that Balochistan has lagged behind other provinces, but the current government is striving to bring it at par with others. He urged for the completion of the Kachhi Canal project’s next phase at a rapid pace, enabling the irrigation of 7-8 million acres of land in the province.

Bugti expressed his commitment to completing the project as soon as possible, saying that it would have a significant impact on the province’s economy and people’s lives.
