Quetta, October 21, 2024 – Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Safraz Bugti congratulated Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and allied parties on the approval of the 26th Constitutional Amendment.
Bugti stated that this amendment marks significant progress toward fair representation for all four provinces and realizes Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s dream of proportional representation in the judiciary.
He praised the collective efforts of Pakistan’s political leadership, calling it a major victory for democracy and stability in the representative parliament. Bugti considers this a milestone in Pakistan’s democratic history, ensuring merit and transparency for years to come.
