Balochistan Assembly demands provincial Govt. to approach federal Govt. for declaring ZAB martyr officially

QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly has adopted a joint resolution demanding of the provincial government to approach federal government for declaring Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto as martyr at official level.
The joint resolution presented by the Member Provincial Assembly belonging to Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani in the session with Deputy Speaker Ms. Ghazala Gola in the chair also demanded to declare Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) as national democratic hero.
The joint resolution was presented on behalf of the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, Ali Madad Jatak and other members of the assembly.
According to the content of resolution, the due legal process and fair trial was not done in the case of death sentence of ZAB, as ruled by the Supreme Court in it’s onion the other day.
As per the resolution, the death sentence of ZAB was judicial murder. It was also asserted that ZAB was physically hanged to death, but practically he is still alive among the masses.
The resolution demanded of the House to ask provincial government to approach federal government for declaring ZAB as martyr officially and declare him national hero.
Later, the members of provincial assembly including JUI’s Zabid Ali Reki, ANP’s Zamarak Khan Achakzai, BNP-Awami’s Mir Asadullah Baloch, PML-N’s Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran as well as the members of assembly from PPP also fully supported the resolution and opinion of Supreme Court in the case of ZAB.
They also paid homage to ZAB on his political and democratic struggle and demanded of the federal government to declare ZAB as martyr and national hero.
