Baloch youth being kept away from state under planned conspiracy

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has stated that the Baloch youths are being kept away from the state under pre-planned conspiracy. He said that one can displease with performance of the government, but one can not get annoyed with the state.
He said that the incidents of terrorism occurred in last few days were sorrowful, and added that innocent people are not assassinated after offloading them from the buses in Baloch traditions.
The Chief Minister was addressing the grand ceremony of distribution of cheques of academic scholarships among male and female students under the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Scholarships Programme here at a local hall, on Wednesday. The cheques of scholarships were distributed through the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF).
The provincial ministers, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Mir Asim Kurd, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Secretary Finance, Babar Khan, Chief Executive of BEEF, Zikriya Khan Noorzai and other concerned high ups. The students securing BEEF scholarships were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister distributed cheques of academic scholarships among the students. It may be mentioned here that scholarship cheques would be distributed among 2500 students under the programme. As many as 1200 scholarships are provided to the students under the scholarship progrmame, however, the Chief Minister made extraordinary increase in the number. Five new categories have been included in the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that you people are future of Pakistan and Balochistan. He said that the provincial government has implemented its education friendly vision announcing to expand the educational scholarship programme further in future.
He was confident that these children would serve the country and Balochistan after getting best education in future.
He on the occasion said that the children of martyrs as well as minorities and students securing prominent positions in different examinations in the districts would be provided excellent academic environment through this scholarship programme.
Under the programme, the provincial government would get imparted higher education to some 200 students in the best universities of the world, adding he assured further.
Besides, the transgenders have also been made part of the scholarship progrmame, he said adding that the government would make them (transgenders) important part of the society.
He stressed that it is necessary for removing sense of deprivations in the province to make the acquirement of education easier.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that the programmes have also been launched to provide technical skills to youngsters besides imparting education to them.
He said that the youth policy has been approved by the cabinet to bring youth of the province closer with the State.
While on the other hand, soft-terms loans are also being provided to youth through Akhuwat Programme so that they may start their own business, he added.
The Chief Minister announced that the jobs would be provided to the unemployed youth purely on merit and that on contract. He asserted that he would not let anyone sell jobs.
He urged the students to prove their love and affection with the country and state. You people have to play your key role in development and construction of the country, he stressed.
He said that let him assure that merit and transparency would be ensured. He also assured that development projects would be continued in all districts without any discrimination.
He said that democracy just means service delivery.
Referring the incidents of terrorism in last few days, Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that these incidents were sorrowful in which innocent people were gunned down.
He said that the innocent people are not killed after offloading them from the buses in Balochi traditions.
