Baloch Yakjehti committee is maligning state institutions over missing person’s issues. This so called committee consider itself as a last ray of hope of Baloch in Balochistan. Unfortunately, Baloch Yakjehti Committee is exaggerating and misguiding the people by using Press Clubs, conferences and social media platforms. On the eve of Asma Jahnagir conference in Lahore, Dr. Mahrang Baloch once again tried to misguide audience through baseless and negative propaganda but she badly failed. She blamed law enforcement agencies for all the issues in the province. She also claimed that Gwadar has been no go area for Balochs but there is no reality in her claim. She actually wants to target the CPEC projects.
Furthermore, BLA and BLF have killed non-local labors in Balochistan in a brutal way. These labors have come to province for the employment purpose. On one hand, BYC tries to become mouthpiece of killed terrorists in operations while on the other hand, they get silence on the killings of labors. Why Dr Mahrang and BYC are silent on inhuman act by the terrorists? This shows that BYC is politicizing the issue of missing persons for its own vested interest and supporting terrorists.
It is very pertinent to mention that Baloch Yakjethi Commiitee spread negative propaganda against state institutions by using social media platforms. When security forces killed terrorists in a clearance operation in Mach and Gwadar, BYC tried to malign state institutions by its false agenda. Currently, no one is ready to believe on her fabricated agenda and she has lost massive support from the public due to her dual standard.
There is no denying the fact that BYC made whole rhetoric on missing persons. Keeping this issue in view, the government has set up a commission which will try to solve the problem as soon as possible. Despite this, Dr Mahrang has neither contacted the commission nor shared list of missing persons as always. BYC must cooperate with the commission in order to solve this issue instead of doing propaganda on social media platforms and protesting on roads.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Mahrang Baloch is approaching to UN Human Rights Commission to gain so called support. She even does not know that UN supports innocent people like labours who were killed by a terrorist organization BLA. Secondly, UN cannot interfere in the internal affairs of the country. Can someone ask from Mahrang that how many times she has appeared before commission to present this case?
In addition, BYC exposed very badly when Pakistan did air strikes in Iran to kill BLF terrorists. It clearly shows that many Baloch missing persons have actually joined terrorist organizations or have taken refuge in Afghanistan or Iran. However, Baloch Yakjehti Committee also put these people in the list of missing persons.
To conclude, BYC needs to stop propaganda regarding Baloch missing persons and extrajudicial killings. BYC must stop misguiding the people and sit with commission to solve the missing persons issue.
