Islamabad, August 25, 2024 – Azerbaijan’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Vilayat Eyvazov, has written a letter to Federal Minister of Interior, Mohsin Nawaz, strongly condemning the terrorist attack on a police convoy in Rahim Yar Khan.
Eyvazov expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of 12 police personnel in the attack and paid tribute to the martyrs. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured police personnel.
The Azerbaijan Minister described the attack as an inhumane and brutal act, stating that those who mercilessly kill and crush people do not deserve to be called humans. He reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s government’s full support for the fight against terrorism.
In the letter, Eyvazov expressed Azerbaijan’s government’s solidarity with Pakistan, its people, the families of the martyred police personnel, and the injured in this difficult time.
