AZAD KASHMIR GETS NEW LANDMARK: RATHUOA HARIAM BRIDGE PROJECT AWARDED

In a significant development, the Azad Kashmir government has awarded the construction contract of the Rs. 10 billion Rathuoa Hariam Bridge to the Frontier Works Organization (FWO).

The ceremony, attended by Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, took place at the PWD Rest House. Housing and Physical Planning Minister Chaudhry Yasar Sultan handed over the construction award letter to FWO Project Director Colonel Aasim Shahin.

Senior ministers, secretaries, and high-ranking officials, including Colonel (Retd) Wagar Ahmed Noor, Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq, Chaudhry Arshad Hussain, and Pir Mazhar Saeed Shah, witnessed the signing of the formal approval document.

This infrastructure project is expected to boost connectivity and economic growth in the region.
