Peshawar, Nov. 25, The Awami National Party (ANP) staged a protest rally in Landi Kotal, Khyber district, against the recent tensions in Khyber district. The protest was attended by a large number of people, including party workers, traders, and local councilors.
Speaking at the rally, senior ANP leaders, Shah Hussain Shinwari and Fazal Rehman Afridi, condemned the bloodshed in Khyber district, which has resulted in the loss of dozens of lives. They demanded an immediate and lasting peace agreement between the two sides.
The ANP leaders also criticized the provincial government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership for their failure to address the issue. They pointed out that the province is facing financial difficulties and is deeply indebted, while the entire Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and tribal districts are plagued by violence.
