QUETTA: The Deputy Prime Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar has categorically stated that we are serious for bringing Balochistan in mainstream development at par of other provinces.
The Deputy Prime Minister assured to issue directives to the concerned authorities for timely release of the funds for federal development projects in the province.
He expressed satisfaction over the measures of provincial government for restoration of law and order in the province and assured complete cooperation by the federal government.
The Deputy Prime Minister was in meeting with the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti before leaving for Islamabad on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Federal Minister Jam Kamal Khan and other senior high ups were also present.
There was discussion on the measures about ongoing development projects, law and order and social development.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that we are making provincial development programme compatible with the public needs.
He said that we are determined to improve service delivery system and establishment of the good governance. However, the timely completion of the federal development projects is conditional with timely release of the funds.
